Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Echo OpenMind account and personal data at any time — from inside the app, or by verifying your email below. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out, and you can cancel any time during that grace period.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Echo OpenMind and go to the Me tab.
- Tap Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately and permanently removed after the 30-day grace period.
Option 2 — Request deletion here
Use the email tied to your account. We'll send a 6-digit verification code to confirm it's you, then schedule the deletion. Changed your mind? Use the same form to cancel a pending deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, avatar, anonymous handle, login identity).
- Your learning history, reading scores, streaks, and progress.
- Your reactions and comments on posts, and your room messages.
- Your remaining credits.
What may be kept, and for how long
